Death and Rebirth

As my 8th semester of college comes to a close, I find myself missing FFXI more than I ever have. I never have enough time to play Eruntalo, but I have been screwing around here and there, as you can tell from the way my blog has been turning.

This semester I managed to get my Clothcraft up to 50, of which I am very proud. I fished enough to turn a very nice profit during my crafting binges, and I even managed to get my own Scorpion Harness in the process, which gives me both a Haubergeon (which now belongs to Kiila as a thanks for everything present) and a Scorpion Harness, a body piece I do intend to use a lot more.

This past week, I have gotten on periodically and, oddly enough, have been leveling my single mule, Bertha--just for fun. Those Field of Valor mini-quests are a lot of fun for me to do while semi-AFK doing other things, and they're actually a decent, mindless way of making a few gil here and there. Doing those as well as Missions 1-1 and 1-2 for Windurst (the only nation I will ever love) have gotten Bertha to level 11, and nearly level 12, Warrior. I will probably continue just leveling her that way until it gets too hard to solo EXP anymore, then I will switch jobs or something.

Granted, I only have 2 more days left of school. 3 finals today and 1 tomorrow, and then I will be home on Thursday. Then, I'll have time to do things on Eruntalo. In the meantime, however, leveling Bertha is enough to quench my thirst.

Besides, she looks cute in her leather gear and Xiphos and maple shield.
